Dr. Csilla Veress is a Naturopathic primary care doctor. She graduated from Bastyr University with her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine. Combining ancient and modern philosophies of medicine, Dr. Veress creates a unique and powerful approach to guiding her patients towards optimal wellness. With this approach, in addition to the fundamental basics of health that TNH embodies, her passion is to help balance the person: mind, body and spirit.
While attending a pre-medical curriculum at Rutger’s University in New Jersey, Dr. Veress knew she wanted to be a doctor and create positive and lasting change in people’s lives. After a disheartening internship at a local hospital and seeing more of the unpleasant political side of healthcare, along with disease and sickness that was perpetuating not improving, she decided to switch careers after graduation to marketing and advertising. While working in New York City for nine years, she slowly started to find her own healing path through nutritional education, Pilates, yoga, and meditation. Finally, she found naturopathic medicine, which combines her passion for healing with a social consciousness. After an immersion in cancer treatment and research, Dr. Veress is excited to be on the prevention side of medicine, helping people build the foundations of their health.
In her spare time, Dr. Veress loves to cook with her own fabulous chef and husband, hike, snowboard, read, write and listen to outdoor concerts during lazy summer nights. “You are never too old to do what you love, and when you are doing what you love, it will never feel like work.” Words for all to live by, as does Dr. Veress.
