TrueNorth Health Center is seeking a full-time, positive, motivated, and kitchen-savvy individual to join our kitchen team. We are a vegan facility dedicated to creating high-quality, exclusively whole-plant-food meals that support the health and well-being of our clients. All meals are SOS-free (no added salt, oil, or sugar) and prepared exclusively from whole plant foods.

The ideal candidate has cooking experience, knowledge of Asian or other ethnic cuisines, and is comfortable conducting a cooking demo for our in-house guests once a week. Housing options may be available for interested candidates.

Day-to-day duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Lifting up to 40 pounds
  • Receiving and putting away produce and dry goods deliveries
  • Preparing food for daily meals, including salad bar items, dressings, composed salads, fruit displays, soups, entrées, and desserts
  • Maintaining organization and cleanliness at all times
  • Other duties as needed
  • Being organized and clean is a must.

TrueNorth Health Center is an 81 patient room, in-patient facility specializing in medically supervised water-only fasting and the use of nutritional medicine to treat a variety of patients with conditions including hypertension, diabetes, autoimmune disorders, and lymphoma. We provide an exclusively whole plant food diet free of added salt, oil and sugar as well as dietary and recreational drugs.

We have been in operation for 40 years and have treated in excess of 25,000 patients with our water-only fasting protocol. Our 501c3 non-profit foundation conducts clinical research and is heavily involved in health education.
